CARE GUIDE — PLAYER VERSION JERSEY
JBjerseys.com | The ultimate guide to make your jersey last for years
Why do Player Version jerseys need special care?
The Player Version uses high-performance breathable technical fabric — the same material professional players wear on the field. This fabric has special properties: it wicks away sweat, regulates temperature, and maintains an athletic fit even after many washes. But these properties are preserved only with the correct care. Hot water, tumble drying, and harsh chemicals destroy the technical fiber and separate the print.
The good news: caring for it correctly is simple. Follow these instructions and your jersey will look as good as new for years.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Before washing
Always turn the jersey inside out before putting it in water. Washing it inside out protects the print, embroidered crest, and exterior colors from direct contact with the washing machine drum or hand rubbing.
Washing
The best option is always to hand wash in cold water with mild soap. If using a washing machine, use the delicate cycle or hand wash cycle with cold water — never more than 30°C / 86°F. Use a mild detergent or one specifically for sportswear. Never use bleach or fabric softener — both degrade the technical fiber, and softener specifically damages the fabric's breathable capacity.
